This document aims to briefly describe the various modules of OptSuite and their purpose. More detail information should be provided on each of the module’s own sections.

The base module forms the fundament of the OptSuite application. It contains RCP plugins that define extensions for example to the points product, application and perspective.

This module introduces concepts and interfaces for data-acquisition. It also provides some UI components fundamental to OptSuite like the RoutineView or the MaskEditor and additionally keeps track of the datastore and io-procedures.

This is the module providing interfaces and helpers for data visualisation and analysis. The analysis plugin might be accompanied by several extension plugins that bring additional functionality into OptSuite. For example there exist the project imtek.optsuite.analysis.gumvis that provides the functionality to plot via the GumTree visualisation package.

Extenstions to the IntensityDetector interfaces based on camera libraries.
